Church fathers quoted it. The apostle Jude cited it word for word. Early Christians treated it as authentic as Genesis.
Then it was condemned as heresy. A rabbi cursed anyone who believed it. It was banned, burned & lost for over a thousand years.
It survived in one place - the Ethiopian Orthodox Church never removed it. In 1773 a Scottish explorer traveled to Ethiopia, found three copies & brought them back to Europe.
Then the Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed everything. Ten Enoch manuscripts found at Qumran – proving the text existed centuries before Christ.
They didn't lose this book. They removed it because of what it contains.

200 angels swore an oath on Mount Hermon to descend & take human wives. All 20 leaders are named. Their children were the Nephilim - giants who consumed everything mankind produced & then consumed mankind itself.
But the real danger wasn't the giants. It was what the angels taught.
Azazel taught weapons & metallurgy. Semjaza taught enchantments. Baraqijal taught astrology. Kokabel taught the constellations. Shamsiel taught the signs of the sun. Sariel taught the course of the moon.

When the Nephilim were destroyed their spirits didn’t die. They became the evil spirits that afflict, oppress & destroy on the earth. They take no food but hunger & thirst & cause destruction.

Over 100 phrases in the New Testament trace back to this book. The Son of Man. The Elect One. The throne of glory. The final judgment. The language Jesus used to describe himself didn't originate in the Gospels. It originated here.
Luke 9:35 was written in the original Greek as "This is my Son – the Elect One." The translators changed it to "my beloved Son" & the connection vanished.
